Hello,
My Story begins in 2007, at one of Australia’s most iconic beaches, my life almost ended.
I was caught in a Rip Current. Not for seconds, but for minutes, for the longest ⏱️87 relentless & unyielding minutes of my life.
Dragged further from shore, smashed into the sand by waves, disoriented, exhausted, and running out of air.
Eventually, my body and hope gave up. As I began to slowly sink beneath the surface, accepting that this was it, suddenly a hand reached down from above and grabbed mine.
It was the Surf Rescue team who reached me in my final moments, and for that, I owe them my life.
